That would apply to the battery percentage charged. Lightning both has a large battery and relatively high consumption. It takes a lot of juice to charge quickly, and the same number of electrons doesn't get you as far. So compared to a model 3 with the same power input, you take longer to...

I don't think the range increase would be that big, really. 25% maybe? My plan is a lightning 145", and a superduty Screw/6.75'. Very different roles between the two. May eventually replace the lightning with an electric Explorer even.

EA will *probably* work for *most* people *most* of the time. But... Tesla's network nobody even questions at this point. That is the difference. In another few years maybe EA will get to that point. Its the combination of plentiful, reliable, and informed that takes time to develop.

I dont disagree with you, but I also know that buying a lightning will be severely limiting in the ways you mentioned. I fully plan on pickup a super duty in 2024-2025'ish to use for RVing, once we have our second kid and they've grown a little to enjoy the outdoors more. Even a smaller RV...

Add a mild level and 35s and you'll have enough sidewall. Make um wider and you'll get sidewall to protect the wheel face.

If you have the option for unleashed, get it. Send like an easy choice. It's not that expensive, and well worth the cost.

2012 Escape. Turned in the lease at the end of July and finally picked this up just to have something until I splurge on the '21. So mostly you just stare at it lovingly.

Not a big fan of either spray in. But I lived having the bed rug insert in my last truck. Easy to clean, soft and still protective.
