Yeah it seems like maybe due to chip shortages the ipma was cheaped out. Now they're trying to figure out with software to get it to work. They are trying to avoid a TSB to replace everyone's ipma physically....

A) how the heck do you know all of this...great info B) what you're describing really feels like why the older trucks aren't getting bluecruise. They shipped them with APIMs that can't do it, and they're struggling to get OTA updates to work on the older APIMs....

You will be fine. I fitted out a 502a but dropped the heavy stuff (moon roof, power tailgate, power step) and I'm at 1565#. I have the same trailer as daemonic and was concerned about being legal.

I expect that features others are getting will eventually be had by all....

I had this issue, tried two different chargers and happened with both. I think it's due to the USB looking to receive data, like carplay or music. I plugged one into the center console plug because I just need power and get no messages. I like this location better anyways bc I can put the phone...

I think it's a restrictive area.... certainly not wide open /easy, but I got used to it so it's not terrible the few times a year I do it. I thought maybe my trailer hooks were small, glad to know it's not just me. I'd be interested in Those hooks but not if they make a bunch of noise
