  1. New BlueCruise Version 1.4 - Rollout March 2025

Thanks guys - good to know about the date changing on expiration of the 3-yr period.
  2. New BlueCruise Version 1.4 - Rollout March 2025

Still waiting for 1.4 on my '22 Lariat... I see that some '22s here have gotten it. Any way to trigger the update? If I don't have 1.4 by the time that Ford wants to renew BC, I will cancel the subscription. I'd like to see if 1.4 will be worth keeping before I commit that kind of money to a...
  3. Poll 22 Lariat Software updates

Yes, but I noticed that the ending date didn't change much. It's still set for this year.
  4. Poll 22 Lariat Software updates

Same! And DEFINITELY will not subscribe to BC if I'm still running the old stuff by the renewal date!
  5. āœ… Ford Resumes Shipping NACS Charging Adapters (February 2025 batch)

Received order# 910034xx on Dec 30th! Already sent the old adapter back.
  6. Would You Buy A Lightning Again?

Absolutely I would! I’ve had my ā€˜22 Lariat ER since Aug ā€˜22, and I can honestly say that it’s the best car I’ve ever owned. This is my first pickup truck ever, and I’m a convert - but only as an EV. And we’ve owned a VERY early serial number (within the first 500 built) Tesla Model S, and 2...
  7. J+ Booster 2 Level 1 & 2 Charger

We have one of these as a backup for the Lightning & my wifes Ioniq 6. The first one would not charge at all, flashing error lights. The company's support was awesome & shipped us a new one (with a longer cable!) nearly overnight! Never had a problem with it since.
  8. ATLAS BLUE F-150 Lightning Photos & Club

Also, I have the twin for your truck ??
  9. First road trips in '22 Lariat - a couple of notes

Arkansas' charging is so sparse that there's little out there short of Little Rock, Hope, and (maybe) Forrest City along I-40. Chargepoint seems to have the higher wattage chargers short of EA in the state. I don't know why Blink even has those low power chargers still out there. I did...
  10. First road trips in '22 Lariat - a couple of notes

Just returned from a couple of road trips in our '22 Lariat, and just wanted to post a few nuggets of things that I liked/disliked about the experience. Went from Shreveport to Baton Rouge, LA with little to no issues, except dead charging stations at the Breaux Bridge, LA Electrify America...
  11. First long trip in the Lightning

It was way easier to do on a Tesla, IIRC...
  12. First long trip in the Lightning

Didn't know this - thanks! That'll help a lot for my next road trip. Is there a different place to see/adjust the DCFC preferences, or does that not show up until you're actually charging?
  13. First long trip in the Lightning

Unless it’s set on a per-charge basis, I’d already set it to charge to 100% on the initial charge before setting out on the trip. It wasn’t matching the truck even - I normally only charge to 80% at home, not 90%. So that figure came from the DCFC itself.
  14. First long trip in the Lightning

We had our first road trip in our '22 Lariat Friday as well. Going from Shreveport, LA to Plano, TX (approx. 200 miles end to end). We charged to 100% for the trip out, and noted that there was an Electrify America charging station near our destination (Royce City, TX) - but nothing in...
  15. What did you replace with your Lightning?

Cool Golf! Is that a GTI?
  16. Do you use AM Radio?

I've found it to be handy when driving long distance - I can listen to whatever I tune to for much, much greater distances before it fades out. Sometimes I can pick up Chicago stations, while traveling in Arkansas!
  17. List: F-150 Lightning dealers that do / don't apply ADM (price markup)

Holy cow! I can't imagine ANYONE buying from them with those kinds of markups! I see behavior like that with the dealerships in my town - they seem to think that people won't go outside of the city to get their cars, so they operate as though they have a captive market. That may be true in...
