Just got an email from BumperShellz that we can pre-order now for our 14th gen F150's. Hopefully that means they are coming soon.

Lots of folks, just take out the rear block and you have about 1.25" drop. If you're going to run stock or slightly larger size tires why hoist the front end up in the air to match the ludicrously high rear?
Bak sent me an email asking if I was happy with their customer service. I replied to them their customer service is top notch, HOWEVER their engineer's and design team are complete morons. Never heard back. LOL
Soooooo here's an update on this POS tonneau. I contacted Bak and sent them the above picture, their fix is to send "shims" to align the top. I'm sorry but if you designed the damn thing properly in the first freaking place to fit said vehicle you SHOULDN'T need shims. Please take advice from...
Did my umpteenth reinstall of the X4S today. I ended up rolling it all the way up, loosening ALL the mounts then closing the top. At that point I made sure it was aligned then crawled in the bed and tightened everything back up. Seems better. PITA!
Had that cover on my '17 it was top shelf. Noticed on the interstate this weekend my X4S is 'lifting" towards the front, going to have to uninstall and start over to see what I did wrong. Starting to HATE the Bak X4S.
Just removing the block should not alter the pinion angle enough to warrant the shim. I did two inch shackles AND removed the block for 3.25" that's why I used a 2.5 degree shim.
I'm in total agreement. My son in law and I had this same discussion while bolting on my Roush exhaust. In the end I just choose to do powder coat. Frankly nothing's as durable as that ugly arse chrome.
I always used a 100 pound torque stick on my '17 and in 40k miles I was never passed by my own wheel. If Gorilla says 95 then 95 would be my number. Personally 150 ftlbs is a Bitch to loosen at the side of the road with that crappy lug wrench Ford provided.
