with my previous trucks, I used to go with a E/LT tire. When I got my Sierra, I went with an XL (Xtra Load) tire. Sorta in between a P and a LT. They worked good, and I'd say for part time towers, a good choice.

So looking at the builder, adding the HDPP package you get specific 18 wheels with a LT265/70/18 tire. However when you look at the wheel itself it says comes with 275/65/18 tire. Do we know which it is?

For the hitch, I'd start from scratch and set it up for your truck based on the directions. You want to be careful not to take off too much tongue weight. I made that mistake once, and hello wagging the dogs tail. I adjusted it a bit, but also added sumo springs, which compounded the issue...
