I have no idea what it cost me. I bought it off the lot, and the only reason that truck was even ON the lot was because it was a custom order truck that Ford built it as a column shift truck but it was ordered with a console shift. The whole truck cost me a ton, regardless. I get the occasional...
I didn't even know that was an option. Your best bet is probably to find another middle seat and swap it with yours. Or secure some OEM parts and swap it, yourself. I don't know about hollowing it out. I'd rather have what you're after vs my work surface. Thing is stupid...
You SHOULD be able...
This Rough Country lift includes a set of optional rear lift blocks.

If you don't put in the rear blocks, the truck will ride level. If you DO put them in, the truck should have a factory looking rake, just taller.
"The kit also...
Does OP have the work surface? I have work surface with my column shift. If you slide it forward there's some (mostly useless) storage and the truck will yell at you for it not being stowed
Does it look like this (#1)
Or like this? (#2)
Jesus lucky you. I installed a set of these on my 2019 Ranger and it took TWO DAYS because the bolt holding the bump stop in place broke. Then I had to drill it out and get a longer bolt and through-bolt the bag into place. Really sucked.
You'll find towing fuel economy isn't always about the weight, but the drag. My 6x12 enclosed with a roof AC unit gets about 10mpg at 70mph. Loaded to maybe 5500 pounds. I've gone across the country multiple times with it. It gets 10.
My dad's 6.2L F250 gets 9 towing his 7x14 at 70.

Added it! Seems like a cool concept. What's the percentage under/behind the truck? Mine says -5.2% lol.
Edit: Not the miles to empty, the one under that.
I'm in the market for a cap/topper/camper shell and wondering if anyone has acquired a USED one that was not sold specifically for the 21+ F150.
Like, does a 5.5" from a 2013 Silverado fit? How about from a 2015 F150? And so on.
Nothing I know of. But a guy here, and on Youtube, made a cardboard cutout (but he used a nicer material) to make a blanking plate for the dash. I'll be making one, myself.
Right? I can't imagine needing to haul something longer in the bed and having it yell at me for the tailgate, constantly.
My GF called it when I first got the truck. "I'm getting jealous of the truck. It yells at him more than I do."
