  1. Tesla adapter ETA?

I believe you. It's just @Texas Dan that doesn't seem to.
  2. Tesla adapter ETA?

Drive one to a SuperCharger with an adapter and report back.
  3. Tesla adapter ETA?

Last test I saw, no CCS vehicles other than Ford and Rivian would charge, even using the Tesla app. Remember: this is not the case on Superchargers with MagicDocks. They will work with most other CCS vehicles.
  4. Tesla adapter ETA?

It'll be a race to see if the Ford adapter comes before Kia gets authorized to charge on Superchargers.
  5. Trailer disconnect but range wrong

Did you set up a trailer profile and use it while towing? If not, you were distorting the range calculations for driving without a trailer.
  6. Your experience with Ford dealer service in Maryland?

Koons Ford/Mazda in Silver Spring has always done well for me. They have been careful and made sure both my Mach E (bought Feb. '21) and my Lightning (bought July '22) were repaired properly. Communication had been just OK but improved recently. They now offer pickup and drop-off service...
  7. Any problems at Tesla Supercharger with A2Z?

Both Tesla and Ford say v4 superchargers are compatible with NACS. In fact, many of them don't need the NACS adapter as many of the v4 installations to date have MagicDocks.
  8. Any problems at Tesla Supercharger with A2Z?

In some cases the problem lies with Tesla not properly setting the v3 supercharger up for non-Teslas.
  9. Purpose of the bottom cover of the CCS1 receiver

It's simple. Most charging time is L2 charging. That would mean your DC pins would be exposed to the elements the whole time you are L2 charging. Most CCS-equipped automakers have some sort of cover for the DC pins. Ford's is actually one of the easiest to use.
  10. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly, and expecting a different outcome...

Yes, that was Methorian who I know from the Mach E forum. It sounds like that station isn't working right for NACS yet. Did you check PlugShare? I see you didn't report your failure on Plugshare.
  11. The Lightning Can Oversteer (drift); Who Knew?

Motor Trend does list a slight difference in front/rear gearing (https://www.motortrend.com/news/ford-f-150-lightning-2023-truck-of-the-year/): AXLE RATIO, F/R 9.72:1/9.61:1
  12. Historic wave of tariffs on 'strategic' Chinese imports

Yes, there are definitely issues of Chinese government support for industries. However, the important thing is that the Chinese auto companies are working much harder on EVs and will eat our lunch if we don't get moving. See this thread and other articles on the amazing progress of Chinese car...
  13. OTA Update Question

Lots of Mach E owners complain regularly about Ford's OTA process. Lightnings are just slower to receive the updates.
  14. Historic wave of tariffs on 'strategic' Chinese imports

Placing huge tariffs on Chinese cars is a clear sign the US automakers are way behind the 8 ball, know it, and are scared. If US automakers don't start making better, cheaper EVs they will be left behind.
  15. Oil Change on Lightning

There is a transmission oil filter on the drive units that probably get changed with the 150,000 mile fluid change.
  16. Vehicle charging capabilities?

If you have chosen to only go to campgrounds that have minimal facilities, I'm not surprised you haven't seen 50A sites. It isn't a question of living in a "very privileged area". It seems to me that you are making assumptions of what is and is not available based on a very limited sample. Your...
  17. Vehicle charging capabilities?

How far west? A quick google search yielded this page from AllStays showing campgrounds and RV parks with 50A in Alberta https://www.allstays.com/Campgrounds/Alberta-am-50amps.htm and this one for BC: https://www.allstays.com/Campgrounds/British-Columbia-am-50amps.htm
  18. Vehicle charging capabilities?

You are either in the wrong campgrounds or you aren't in the area with full hookups for larger RVs. We just returned from a two month trip pulling a 25' trailer behind our Lightning and charged many nights on standard 50A 240v outlets in campgrounds. If you plan to charge in the campground...
  19. Vehicle charging capabilities?

Nope. You have two choices with the Ford mobile charge cord: 12A 110v 30A 240v
  20. Instrument Cluster went dark!

Did you try doing a Sync screen reset? Did you try pulling fuse # 13? https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/instrument-cluster-has-gone-dark-fix-post-19.15413/post-333031
