We still have our original Lightning from this build week, we sold our second that was an early August build. The truck is approaching 30k km (19k miles) with the only real issue being the tailgate light bar. We've driven the truck way more than we originally thought. This truck turned into my...
I wasn't able to talk to the Tech as I was late picking the truck up. Looking at the charge port it doesn't look like there are any new parts. However, according to the work order they replaced LC9Z-10D737-A per TSB 23-2014. I found a post on a Mach-E which describes the part as the lock...
Dealer found a bad charge port, they're in the process of changing that out. Hopefully that's the fix, I was surprised how quick they came at that conclusion. Bad news is the new light bar they ordered was damaged in shipping 😩
I'll update the thread once I get the truck back and confirm the...
Tried DC fast charging last night just to see, still getting a charger fault and no current flow. The trucks going in tomorrow AM, hopefully they can find something and resolve it quickly.
Thanks, I looked quickly and couldn't find anything similar to my issue. I'll take a look at the charge port to see if there's anything obvious. I've got an appointment at the dealer next Wednesday to swap out the tailgate light and look at this issue.
Last week we were in a pinch and needed to DC fast charge. We tried two different stations but couldn't get anything at either one. One of the stations worked just fine the day before so I chalked it up to bad luck and a system update at one of the chargers. I did get Charge Station Fault - See...
Good call on the '22. I'm on the fence regarding actually taking delivery of this '23. I don't think it makes financial sense anymore with our nearly identical '22 not being worth nearly as much as it was when we placed the order for this one.
I hardly ever use mine on 120v, always 240v at home. A few weeks ago I did use on 120v at my folks and had issues getting charging starting. It was -12 Celsius that day, so around 10 Fahrenheit. I attributed it to the outlet and not the charger though.
From the last lightning, I didn't see anything until about a week after my blend date. Waiting for my modules to pop now, then hopefully see something in FordPass.
My co-worker just reminded me this morning. It's too bad OrderTrack.app is no longer fully functioning, the Ford site is just terrible. My blend date is day, no modules available yet though.
Looks like I got lucky on this one, the VIN for my '23 Lariat ER is showing 1FT6 which seems to indicate I will be getting AS tires. In Canada we have a "Luxury Tax" which the Lightning would qualify for, if it came with the AT tires. So this "free upgrade" could have cost me an extra $2400.
It's less than 6 weeks away, I'd think Ford is scheduling at least that far forward. My first Lightning was ordered January of '22, I received a VIN and build date in April. The original June build date was later pushed to early July, with a mid-July actual build date. I'm honestly not in a huge...
Not yet, I don't expect it for a few more weeks at least. Fingers crossed I don't get the AT Tire upgrade for free, but that's another change I'm seeing.
