well your mistake is believing anything a dealership says when it comes to the profit they can try and squeeze out of you.
Sure when it took months for them to get lightnings they could do that crap now they are sitting on the lots and they have to move cars to make money and not pay lot fees...
People pull out in front of cops/emergency vehicles going code all the time. Loud pipes saving lives is a myth for the most part. Especially because the large portion of loud is behind the bike and not pushed forward.

or you can buy the parts and install it on your pro for not very much . As long as they still include the wires. Most with tow package and tech had the wires at least the first 2023 did. And if not you can wire it yourself. There is a thread on it.

Its simple Ford has stock holders it has to answer to and make the most cash it can. They were not making enough on the product so raised prices 2-3 times to cover losses or brake even point and ended up shooting to high and loosing sales that equaled less money than they would be making at a...

I have a 2023 Pro . I was in wave 2 of reservations and held out and got my pro for the original price of 40K. I had to pay more and get the refunds from Ford to get the correct price. My dealer upped my trade value to cover the added cost of taxes.
