I was looking at the MORE EV program today for a likely Tesla Model Y purchase and saw the $7500 incentive for the Lightning and thought about this thread. Funny that a few hours later I get email notification.
I got 36 panels of solar on my roof, so now it makes sense to buy another EV...
I live down on the cape, I sold my Lightning for this exact reason except my Silverado work truck was a diesel averaging 27 mpg. I was paying 34 then 38 cents per kWh then, but now it’s up to 41 cents per kWh, thanks Eversource. I had a thread about it when I sold the truck, many people...
The weathertech do fit better than what your picture shows, but they did slip on top of the vinyl floor in the Pro. I was looking at these floor liner securing pegs for the rears...
The pro mats I got from Weathertech had glue down pegs for the front that held securely, but the large rear floor mat didn’t have anything to secure it.
Not much of a story, just a paperwork error on my part. I incorrectly marked a box I should’ve left blank on the title when signing it over. I completed and sent the MA correction document and evidence but buyer’s state wouldn’t accept the correction document so I had to order a replacement...
The transaction with the first buyer didn’t work out. I had to order a replacement title from the state, which should be here by 11/4. I’m going to be out of town 10/30 to 11/5, so any transaction would have to be after that and when I receive the new title.
I just got a 1 year for $60 offer for my 2021 Bronco. I tried to get the 3 year for $99 deal, but it only applied to the radio ID for my 2015 VW Touareg. I’m debating at $60, but I don’t drive my Bronco daily. I’d be more inclined to spend it for the wife’s Tacoma.
I started this thread to share my experience with others.
I’m operating a fleet of 150 vehicles and need to balance fuel costs and environmental concerns with production. Without production there is no profit and eventually no company. As a company solution the $76K ER XLT was a non starter...
Assuming you have price protection for 2022 prices, I would suggest you order the least expensive model available with decent options and flip it. If you aren’t price protected I’d walk. Chances are another dealership would give you over MSRP in trade and you’d get your sales tax back.
Let’s try to keep the politics out of this thread so it doesn’t get closed, please. For whatever reason Mods on most forums have no tolerance for it anymore. I appreciate the video and how it pertains to the conversation, but someone else may feel the need to spout off one way or another and...
