    I had the same pop-up today. I had no updates available and didn't do any updating. I wonder if this was a message that was accidentally sent to anyone driving at that time? I was navigating to home through Google maps, not a charger and had 71% battery.

    Mine has stayed above 90% and I've driven it several times. 92-94 is the norm. I only charge to 80, so no confusion there.

    Good observation. I think I'll wait until the next OTA and see if it's successful before I complain, unless the overwhelming consensus is that I complain and get the correct part installed.

    My Ford dealer already had the part in stock, surprisingly enough. They installed it this morning in 40 minutes. Attached are the old and new part.

    You're not BASING this post on much RESEARCH. Even if you're right, and all CHARGING to 100% each day does is lower your range over TIME, why would anyone want to do that if they KNEW there was a way to keep the range BETTER? Random CAPITALIZATIONS just for FUN.

    There's nothing wrong with plugging it in every night, with the added bonus that you can get battery preconditioning and cabin comfort going every morning before you leave for work, if you set the departure time. In regards to your title, there's nothing WRONG with charging to 90% each night...
