  1. Guide to Reducing Cabin Noise and insulation upgrade on F-150 Lightning

My 2024 Flash is pretty darn quiet. If the truck weren’t a lease I’d be adding some more sound deadening just because, followed by audio upgrades. The stock B&O is decent for volumes I’ll listen to, but I would like a better subwoofer setup for those times I want to indulge in 80’s and 90’s...
  2. Sunvisor Homelink Swap - part # number and DIY

Agreed, for $259 I’ll use my remote.
  3. Sunvisor Homelink Swap - part # number and DIY

Is there a thread on the home link mirror? I wouldn’t mind adding that on my Flash. Nevermind, I did a search: https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/adding-homelink-interior-rearview-mirror-to-2024-lightning-flash.22805/#post-442900
  4. Perfect Frunk Box / Storage / Drawer?

I test fit some of my Rigid packout style boxes in the frunk today. The rear is a medium with a couple parts organizers on top, the front is two of their smaller boxes. The height is pretty close to maxed out, a small on top of the medium was too much in the back.
  5. Finding power behind coin holder?

The truck’s body control module is looking for specific parameters from specific circuits, of it sees a draw that is outside of design specs it may cause issues. Perhaps if you are pulling your power from that Qi charging mat circuit it would be ok, but I don’t know if the Qi is communicating...
  6. Finding power behind coin holder?

The 12v system in the Lightning is very sensitive to additional draws. Even on switched power I would occasionally get a popup on the app about too much 12v draw with only my radar detector and dashcam installed. The radar detector was pulling power from a Dongar adapter plugged into the rear...
  7. Has anyone upgraded audio?

Check out https://plugnplaykits.com/, they seem to make some nice factory integrated products. I have one of their Kicker key add on kits for my Bronco, but I haven’t had time to install yet. I might try the kit on my Lightning and go bigger for my Bronco.
  8. Has anyone upgraded audio?

After some more driving experience I can say I could live with the stock Pro audio system as it is. I might try swapping speakers or adding a powered sub at some point, but it’s not garbage from the factory. It’s light years ahead of the POS Ford installed in my Bronco.
  9. Adding Heated Seats to Pro?

The local dealer isn’t going to provide any tangible warranty on aftermarket parts they add, but they might be willing to sweep problems under the rug with respect to the Ford warranty later. If the seat heaters draw less than 10 amps I can’t see any problems pulling seat heaters power from one...
  10. Adding Heated Seats to Pro?

Aftermarket seat heaters will cost about $100 plus install. I’ll be adding some on my 2022 Pro in the next month or so. I haven’t looked at how the seat covers come off to determine if I’ll do the install myself or pay an upholstery shop. If they use hog rings I may pay for the install. I’d...
  11. Phone Holders, Yet?

Builtright has mounts for anything RAM onto the dashboard. Personally I really like CarPlay. My main gripe is that the Ford system only supports one phone connection at a time. My 2021 Silverado 1500 diesel supports my work iphone on CarPlay, my personal iPhone on Bluetooth, and playing...
  12. Weathertech vs Ford All weather liner tray

That curling seems indicative of people dragging their feet into the truck constantly. I have found the second row on the weather techs are thinner than the fronts, but I’ve never had the edge rolling up like that. I’m probably going to order the weather techs for the vinyl floor on my Pro...
  13. Center Console Tray

Which vault did you use? I’m trying to figure out if the 2022 is the same as the 2020 for fitting a vault. I like this one because it only takes up half the console, I had it in my 2020 Raptor...
  14. Weathertech vs Ford All weather liner tray

How do the front mats stay in place on the Pro? Any pictures? Thanks.
  15. Has anyone upgraded audio?

Ford has never impressed me with an audio system, and the one in my 2021 Bronco is particularly crappy. I’m assuming the F-150 system suffers from similar component issues, but the speaker size and position is superior so it should sound better initially. Here are some simple upgrade path...
  16. Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 with Dongar mirror adapter

I’m looking at the same camera for my Bronco and Lightning because it fits behind the mirror so well. I’m not sure if I will use the Dongar adapter on the Lightning or Bronco though. I had an issue with the Dongar adapter on the Tacoma this week. The radar detector suction cup failed sending...
  17. Floor Liners for Pro

Also Ford makes a specific liner for the vinyl floors. The Weathertechs fit the vinyl floor well in my Bronco, but it has pegs to secure mats...
  18. Wire diagram for rear view mirror

I have the Dongar adapters in my Tacoma and Bronco, they work fine.
