Maybe I should be starting a new thread?
My truck installed BCM 24.5.1 four days ago (Your frunk now closes securely with the exterior button, even when your vehicle is locked...). I noticed this changed behavior probably about a year ago so I didn't think much of it when it installed...
Has anyone had luck getting through to Forscan support the last couple weeks?
I bought the extended license and asked for the 2.4 download. Got a quick response with the link to accept the risk and what not. But haven’t heard back after three emails as far back as 6/29.
Or if anyone wants to DM...
Yes, my 22 Pro has it. I was able to eventually force it out after releasing the top, bottom and inside/front tab. It’s wasn’t easy and smashed one of my fingers, but it will heal before parts arrive and I install it.
This is wonderful! Just verified my 22 Pro with 360/Town tech has the wires. Ordering parts now!
Pro tip, if you partially open the door to fit your fingers onto the backside of the boot/connector, dont then open the door the rest of the way unless you dont like your fingers.
Pro comes with lane keep - ping pong between the lines. I want lane centering that is part of Ford Co-Pilot360TM Assist 2.0. Saw a thread over on f150gen14.com showing how to add it and ACC (which is what I really want).
After that, I'd love to figure out if intelligent access is doable...
Got my rain sensor installed and programed and it worked great just now. Couldn't be happier for a $40 part. Also got the bedight programmed and working without any fuss.
Programmed for glare free as well but won't know how that works until tonight.
Next one will be lane centering and ACC...
Decided to take a second look and pulled the whole cover off. My 22 Pro does have the wire there, it was just tucked up there nicely. $40 auto wipers, here we come!
This thread ended when the Lightning Forum was spun off. There is a VERY long thread about this on gen14. I spent the last hour going through the whole thing. This is the single best post to summarize what is needed and the very next one has a spreadsheet showing all the Forscan changes...
