Dealer continued to work with me even though that lease deal appears to be gone. Ended up at $569 a month with only the first payment due at signing for 39 months. I'll consider it a win. Lease price ended up at $60k, down from the $71,790 MSRP
It seems ford has removed the lease deal from their webage... this has put my current conversation with the dealer on hold until they can find out if it's still active.
Heres the sheet for the current lease deal. I'm more than likely not trading in my current truck because I can sell it for more elsewhere. Otherwise, how do these numbers look? This is a non x-plan deal. I'm seeing if they will knock $2000 off the sale price to get me close to the current...
Has anyone been able to get one of these lease deals and have the dealer ship a truck from another dealer? I'd like to get this deal, but finding a flash with the 9.6kw pro power has me looking at other states.
I think you all might be over thinking this. I don't know of many people who would want to sign on the dotted line for a $70k+ vehicle (maybe more if the dealer ads on ADM) at 7-8% interest. I know Ford has an incentive now to try and get those older models off the lot, but if they produced...
I think why its irritating to some is we have seen others who get this at point of sale, and saves them from a bigger sales tax bill/less worrying about IF you will receive the money. If some dealers can do it, why can't all of them? Should be something that is standardized through all...
If you signed a sheet like mine, it said they would give me "any price protection moneys" that was deposited to the dealer. So if Ford sent them the full $9100, their own "contract" per se for the price protection means you should be given the full amount. Price protection money is not meant...
Had a huge sigh of relief today as I opened an envelope from my dealer that contained a check for $9100. So there is still hope for all of you waiting on that check. I bought the truck on 4/5 and received this check on 4/28, so not even 30 days.
So last night I disconnected the 12v battery for 5min and the message was still there when I started the truck (Didn't drive it anywhere). I then charged the truck to 100% last night and this morning as I was pulling the truck out of the garage the warning went away on the dash. Drove to work...
I'l take a look tonight and let you know what I find. I believe my truck was shipped back to Michigan to have a module replaced during the stop shipment, so I'll be curious if my sticker is different.
So this week I wanted to try running the battery down to below 50% just to get an idea of actual mileage/range, and today on my way to work I got the dreaded powertrain malfunction/reduced power warning. The truck never lost 100% power, but its funny that the first time I had the truck get near...
The dealer will go off the window sticker price. That page shows $56k for my truck, but the price at the dealer was $60k. But for those who got the price protection up front, they got the full 8-9k in price protection, so I'm expecting the same for me when i hopefully receive a check in the...
Have you been in touch with your dealer? From what I saw, when the truck is turned on, it broadcast the location of it to their order tracking software.
I feel like everyone who has gotten their truck recently had them already in a lot away from Michigan. Maybe the ones that were backed up in Michigan are now awaiting trains to take them to the next shipping lot, and the bottleneck is there.
