I saw the Big Boy twice in two days this week. It was parked downtown Saint Louis at Union Station but I could only see it for 15 minutes because I spent so much time finding parking and they closed it off early. It also went by the nearby train museum we were going to anyway on the trip the next day. That was a stop not declared on the itinerary but it was a wonderful stop.
I forgot to mention the Lightning worked great for my trip. It had all the power and cargo I needed. Lane centering and adaptive cruise control worked very nicely, making traffic a lot less stressful.
No charging hiccups other than me not squarely seating the plug, an unplug and replug got it going. Recharging at the hotel worked pretty well but because of the short-sighted installation, the activation QR code I needed wasn’t visible except when I put my phone behind the post, in the bushes.
