After reading the article it still seems like Ford is chasing the dragon on those early MachE and Lightning sales. They need to realize those willing to pay the early adoption premium are already driving their EV and it's time to start building the "everyman" EV. Bring back the Focus Electric, and release a Maverick Lightning. Both need to be about $30k, both can be built on the MME line if they do it right. Else you're just going to end up having to discount newly built XLTs into a money pit. Flash is going to get some people, but I don't think it's ticking the right boxes for anyone. It's a stripped down Lariat, not an upgraded XLT. I foresee discounts on Lariats are going to keep people from even considering the Flash.
