Just a friendly reminder that a 40% improvement in high beam output is a bulb swap away. The stock high beam bulbs are sylvania 9005LL (aka long life aka low performance).
Fortunately an upgrade is simple, easy, and cheap: buy a set of 9011 bulbs (I chose the Phillips standard $30 each on Amazon), clip the uppermost tab so that it matches the 9005 bulb (see above) clean the glass of the bulb with an alcohol wipe, and install. The 9005 is spec’d at ~1700 lumens and the 9011 HIR puts out ~2400 lumens with the same power draw (65w) and same filament positioning.
