This is my #1 long term concern from looking under the truck - not part failure but wiring issues. We have an F250 that now has had multiple wiring issues - we just now run new wires and forget trouble shooting. Test wire before testing the part, no power run a temp wire, it works, run new wire. I know Copper is expensive - and these trucks have miles - but some of these wires are near hair thickness ... add that to the connectors/harness being exposed in our Northern environment. Not unique to the Lightning, pretty much every new vehicle.Well after a few days at dealership, corroded wire under Frunk . Not covered by Ford over the 3/60km warranty ( Canada). Corrosion is not covered. A failed part but not corrosion. $500cnd to fix ( all labour and a few dollars for a wire kit)
picking it up tomorrow
