I'm in the same boat... 2.7 and my desire is some improvement in the factory wheels/ tires without a giant mileage penalty.Any 2.7 folks in here? Leaning towards 295/70/18 ... trying to find a tire between 33-34 ish that won’t absolutely kill power and mileage. I hear conflicting opinions as far as gearing and engines.
Installed KO2 305/65/18’s today. No lift yet, on order.
no rubbing or trim required.
67mph at 65 indicated.

I have the same problem of deciding which larger tire that would fit this rim? The stock OEM 18" rim, I read that it's a 7.5 width rim, another person said it's a 8.5 rim width?On my Lariat FX4 the only option I could pick was this wheel.

Thanks that's solid information on the 7.5" width, I know that their stamp the size on the backside of the rim. So what the largest tire that would fit on a 7.5 w - 18" Height rim? 285/70R18 at 33.2 in height? or 295/65R 18 at 33.1" H ... thanks. another question. i am leaning towards the readylift 2”. i’ve seen some trucks with this appear to have a little bit of a bro lean. would you say your truck is exactly level or does the front appear to be a bit higher than the back now?

Thank you for the correction, my mistake on type of rims. I getting a different rim than stated.That's a different wheel and tire than mine. Mine is a 18 x 7.5 wheel.
