Ford app already cut down on the "white space" in at least one area. The "hero" vehicle image seems to dynamically resize based on screen height such that the first bank of controls are always shown. For me, the first 6.x release pushed the controls down enough that required scrolling.
People commenting on the past!?!? Let's stay focused on the future!...
I didn't write my 2026 predictions. The general theme will be extending current and future functionality to platform specific features. I know this is generic, so I'll list some specifics with the platforms I'm most...
As I mentioned, I don't track Android updates. I had to go to APK Mirror to infer details. They are non-authoritative.
However, the iOS releases were consistent. Here is a table of just the iOS releases and you can see how consistent they are:

While I have access to Android devices as a mobile app developer, I don't install and track availability of the Ford Android app. However, I was able to scrape data from APKMirror of when Android app versions roughly arrived.

Hi. Mobile app developer here. The in-motion "feature" you are describing is guidance by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of the Federal Department of Transportation. It is worth noting that it is non-binding and not law, but is a very, very strong recommendation. This might...
New Ford app. What is your feedback?…
Ok, the new iOS app is out. You have opinions. Let’s pretend you have the attention of a Ford product manager for 30 minutes. What feedback do you want to tell them? What do they need to know?

It required an app update and module update to support the change. BCM, I think? Maybe APIM was...
I have a perfectly fine working charge port door on my '23 Agate Black Lariat.
However, I was in an accident earlier this year and the repair shop replaced the front passenger fender with Ford's replacement part, which does not have the matching dummy door. It seems to align with '25 builds...
