CarPlay AI Box for 2025 Lariat??

Hello! My husband has the F150 Lariat (2025) and I'm looking into the AI Box options. Does anyone have a good model (ie Binize, Ottocast, Carlink) to recommend? I tried deciphering between the billion options, and I am lost. He would probably just want to stream shows/sports. When I checked compatibility on the Binize website I didn't see a 2025 Lightning compatible model. Can anyone help me? I don't even drive this car I just want to get him a good Christmas gift

I've had good luck with the Carlink boxes I keep in both my Lightning and Mach E. I like that you can insert a Sim in them and have a car phone number and internet hot spot separate from your cell phone. It does have the annoying habit of randome rebooting, though, so I've ordered the Ottocast E2 OttoAibox 2026 Car Streaming Box.

Maybe a stupid question but I’m curious what is the advantage of this over the factory CarPlay? Is it just the video streaming when parked?

Typically people utilize these types of products to bypass carmakers’ limitations on infotainment features while the vehicle is in motion. Or install apps that aren’t typically made available to Android Auto or CarPlay for similar reasons.

I have the Binize one in my 2023 Lightning Lariat. It works well, I hot-spot my phone and it runs off that internet connection.
