Yeah I get that. I’m saying it would be a nice feature anyway absent of this parking prawl issue. I love auto hold. I have it on both our cars. That and one pedal. It ruins me when I drive other vehicles that don’t have it. Lol.
I know it’s a pipe dream but it sure would be nice if they could just add a slider in the settings for auto park brake. So that anytime truck goes into park the brake would just automatically apply. Seems like such an easy simple thing. My work around has been to open door when I stop before...
Pretty much what I said above. I let the factory nav make the route and charging stops. Then I use PlugShare or the Tesla app to find a sc that is close to where the factory nav is routing me to charge. That way the battery does its thing and warms or cools as needed since the truck knows it’s...
My battery seems to warm into the high 50’s whenever I’ve checked assuming it’s colder than that. But charging always seems to ramp up to 180-185ish pretty quickly. So who knows.
So this is only 22’s I have a 23 and it appears mine preconditions. I don’t have any scientific data just looking at charging speeds etc. it seems to.
I’m not asking to be an asshole I’m genuinely curious as to why you think that. Are you watching battery temps and not seeing them go up? Or? I’m asking because I’ve seen anyone say this before. And I’m interested in what data you’re using.
I’ve found that using the ford nav to fool it for preconditioning purposes seems to work well. Usually whatever site it suggests I can find a SC close by. I figure it helps, better than nothing. It’s absolutely ridiculous that ford can’t get their shit together and update our apim’s to show SC. 🙄
Oh copy. Yeah I got the same one. I’m assuming you’re talking about the “hard drive” enhancement for xm radio or whatever. I just completed a cross country trip and it sure would have been nice for the SC to be in the native navigation. So stupid that it’s taking this long for that update. 🙄
What do you mean “ext. climate run” what’s the purpose of that? Do you mean you’re just leaving the truck on hoping that an update might happen?
That’s .41 cents per. Not too bad for DCFC. I mostly use SC with their membership when traveling and they are usually 36-41ish per kWh for the most part. More of course in the peoples republic of California of course. 🤣
