  1. Battery level after setting a departure time

I noticed the same thing. It normalizes 2-3% later but the first few makes you feel you're on pace to drain your battery in 15 minutes. Sometimes I don't make it out the neighborhood before losing the 1st percentage. For comparison, in warm months here in NC I can go about 5 miles/10 minutes...
  2. Extended Range 320 Miles???

In these massive computers on wheels, no reason we can't have both. Imagine that, options. ? I can't imagine these weren't discussed at length by highly-paid people. Then they decide on this?? They CAN'T be driving Lightnings (or MME) full time.
  3. Extended Range 320 Miles???

It's still closer to what you can expect vs long term data. That's typical of any machinery. I was just making sure the OP knew it existed. What anyone does with it is up to them. I did caveat it with "until you start driving". We can expect different results under different conditions...
  4. Extended Range 320 Miles???

It's helpful to periodically reset your driving history too so that the estimate can re-learn your habits & get closer to accurate. After the reset it should be very close to 320 until you start driving. I do it as the weather changes so I don't have summer kwph data in my winter results (and...
  5. NTSB To Investigate Fatal Accident in San Antonio Involving Ford BlueCruise

Since I was a child I've always wondered why vehicles are sold & allowed to go past any speed limit. If it's about regulation, cap capable speed at 70mph. Then I grew up & realized, you can't regulate every single thing in this world. Once Pandora's box is opened.... Make duller knives, ban...
  6. Got into an accident. Cautionary PSA about one pedal driving

Don't know about you all but with 1PD on, I have to press the accelerator with more force to accelerate. That helps somewhat with accidental acceleration (although as OP said, wet/rain totally changes the scenario as it would even when walking). For me it's like switching between a manual car vs...
  7. ✅ 10/31 Lightning Build Week Group (MY2023)

I took delivery the same day and was told the same thing. However, my dealer gave me one anyway. They told me it was their pleasure since I had went through so much and hung in there. I was with you feeling like everything I read indicated it was included.
  8. ✅ 10/31 Lightning Build Week Group (MY2023)

Yes, it was close enough to take the film off my teeth but I'm in the club! Zeus is home!
  9. ✅ 10/31 Lightning Build Week Group (MY2023)

I'm biting fingernails with 2 days left hoping to join the club. Story of my life. C'mon Ford! Dealer said it was on a truck Tuesday. gulp
  10. ✅ 10/31 Lightning Build Week Group (MY2023)

Same here with the 12/9 (finally) built but still awaiting shipment. If this is what you get for 2 grand I'd hate to see budget shipping options. For what we stand to lose, I'd gladly throw in another grand for next day air.
  11. Any taillights anti-theft solutions?

I was thinking the same thing.. a tonneau cover might solve the issue too.
  12. ✅ 10/31 Lightning Build Week Group (MY2023)

Looks good. I may be in the minority but I like the Pro/XLT rims much better thant than the Lariats.
  13. ✅ 10/31 Lightning Build Week Group (MY2023)

I saw that this morning. Great way to start my day. Fingers crossed for 22' delivery. Estimate is 12/21-12/27.
  14. ✅ 10/31 Lightning Build Week Group (MY2023)

No kidding! Still stuck "in production" with a 11/4 blend date. I'm constantly contacting CS and nothing much is changing. Fingers crossed but starting to lose hope of a December delivery.
  15. ✅ 10/31 Lightning Build Week Group (MY2023)

Sad thing is, hundreds of folks will miss out on the $7500... a price that can buy boxes of those cheap parts. It feels like they're building Frankenstein but can't release him yet because of a backlog on fingernails...
