Yeah that was a factor in my decision. Trying to get one that had everything mine had. There are a scarce number of 22 platinum lightnings for sale. I can do without the EV to make sure I have all the options I’m accustomed to. I’ll be keeping a close eye on the next gen Lightning though.
the interior is elegant. Real wood accents. Real leather. Seats are more comfortable. They are massing seats. Great color combo with browns, tan and bronze. Best interior in a vehicle I have ever owned including my Lightning and the 21 Limited I had before that. I wish I could put the Lightning...
it was worse than the picture looks. 55mph or so hit. Right at $40kish in damages. I’ve been sick about it. And sick about how these have depreciated.
Well back in late April a teenager pulled out in front of the wife and my 22 Lightning Platinum got totaled after 7 long weeks. After a lot of thought I decided to replace it with a 24 King Ranch Powerboost. I couldn’t stomach getting another Lightning with less features and having another...
40k here. Battery module replaced at 33k. I have had issues with it not charging at the same rates as before the module replacement which Ford is still working on trying to correct. We shall see.
i have extensive experience in Georgia and Tennessee. I’ve had a 650 mile round trip to make about twice a month or so that I do in one day so I’m extremely familiar with fast charging woes.
i used to see over 18 regularly and had to keep it turned down due to over heating. Now it can take around ten hours to charge up when I’ve ran it low. One time it didn’t charge up before I needed to leave again the next day.
I have the truck set to charge to 90% daily as recommended and only...
At first it was half speed. Dealer checked it out and said it was ok but was waiting to hear from higher ups. They think ford is turning the rate down. It did speed up. Now however I’m lucky to average 14-15kw on the charge station pro on 80amps.
37k here and one module replacement so far. Slower charging after replacement. Dealer thinks ford turned the rate down via software. So far they cannot get an engineer to come out and check it. Love the truck but not real thrilled now.
My service advisor was not there when I picked mine up. The other advisor wasn't really familiar with it but told me the battery module alone was $6500 and that did not include labor.
