If you're genuinely concerned, you could get yourself a nice free network protocol analyzer like Wireshark and analyze the packets going to and from that IP - that would tell you what it's communicating with and possibly why.

I read that when you receive this error you could try initiating the charge using the Tesla app and that should initiate the charge. The Ford update for Tesla charging is supposed to fix this issue. -Bill
