Yup. Weird, unexplainable, and sometimes unrepeatable things can happen when low-voltage batteries are weak/bad. OP, hopefully it's just the 12v battery causing these issues.

Thanks for the help, y'all. I figured it out. I had the wiring wrong. I disconnected the wire on the puddle lamp from pin 12 and ran a spare pigtail I had from the puddle lamp to one of the grounds and the puddle lamp came on. Now I just need to take off the mirrors and correct it officially...

Do older Fords count? This was taken back in 2000, where for a brief time we had four F-Series in the family, three of which were for my dad’s lawn service business. Today, my brothers and I each drive Fords, an F-350, and two F-150s, one of which is my Lightning.

Hmmm, I don't have the puddle lamps connected to a ground pin. I'll look into that and report back. I'm assuming the ground pin doesn't matter? Either C521 pin 20 or 22?

Bringing this back to the top. I tried a different sent of puddle lamps so I don't think the original lamps I used were bad. Further, on both sides when puddle lamps should be on (tried testing using the 4 zone lighting) both showed they got about 2v DC instead of 12v DC. Any idea what might be...
