  1. Ford To Open New Electric Vehicle Battery Facility In Michigan (edited)

you realize this thread and the articles are 4 years old.
  2. Charging port door opened in car wash

interesting. I take mine to the car wash a couple times a month and haven't had any problems but I will keep a lookout for this.
  3. After a year and a half.....

same here. I'm 70 and have owned too many vehicles to count and this is by far the most fun to drive, and has beat my expectations handily. (Three of my past vehicles were Corvettes... '65,78,85 and Sparky would smoke all three.... easily)
  4. Another Post on Range Lower than Expected

I don't think anyone has figured out how many miles are used to estimate the GOM. However my own experience had me very skeptical of the GOM but now with over 15k miles I find it pretty good, particularly if you plug your destination into the NAV.
  5. Tesla V4 not working for me

Even though you shouldn't need the tesla app, I'd have it ready just in case. One time I had trouble with Ford Pass working (kept getting a "charge station paused" message) but my butt was saved because I had set up a Tesla account and had the app on my phone. It worked as expected...
  6. OEM Hankook tires

    me too at 18k miles
  7. After more than 250,000 miles, Ford Mustang Mach-E still has 92% battery life

good to know. in any case I believe that a brake job in my Lightning's future is 100,000 or more miles in my future ...if ever!
  8. 12V draw with air compressor

A small 110v pancake compressor can be had for about $60 and draws only 3 amps.
  9. After more than 250,000 miles, Ford Mustang Mach-E still has 92% battery life

not surprising if you use 1PD. I rarely have to touch the brakes.
  10. Is the Ford Charge Station Pro worth it?

I'm perfectly happy with my FCSP. It was included with my Lariat so price wasn't an issue. But if I were having to pay for one now, there are several others that are probably a better value. I'm sure many posters to come will have recommendations.
  11. Forums Stability/Uptime?

yeah, I was a little worried but noticed on a reddit forum someone chimed in about the mach e forum also glad were up and running again!
  12. Edmunds 3 year Lightning review

Yep. Not too long after I traded in my Chevy Avalanche for my Lightning, I picked up some treated lumber for some deck work. I left the tailgate down and with everything tied down proceeded to make the 2 mile trip home on a 2 lane country (paved) road when I heard a terrible noise coming from...
  13. Interesting video on EVs and roadway guardrails

I ran across this yesterday:The Real Reason Guardrails Can’t Stop EVs in a Crash
