  1. F-150 Lightning Sales Total 3,217 in August 2025

I do a lot of "brand ambassador" stuff in parking lots (seems to happen a lot on the golf course when I pull my clubs out of the frunk). Now that I'm three years in, I typically start with a conversation around mechanical longevity and reliability. This is the number one reason I've kept the...
  2. In the event of a battery fire, what is the fastest, easiest way to drag the truck out of the garage?

Thanks for the answers on the detectors - time for some upgrades!
  3. In the event of a battery fire, what is the fastest, easiest way to drag the truck out of the garage?

Quick question for you - I think most garages do not have detectors installed (mine doesn't). I think I read somewhere that in a garage, a heat detector is a better choice than a smoke detector. True?
  4. PU-Sync-25.2.1.6.5 - Walk Away Lock Toggles: Post 203 Final FIX!

@ Thanks Brian - it's probably worth noting that other members received a prior update which turned the walk-away-lock feature on, with no way to disable it, and the release notes also indicated that this situation would be fixed in this update (which it did not).
  5. PU-Sync-25.2.1.6.5 - Walk Away Lock Toggles: Post 203 Final FIX!

I have the BCM update (thus WAL is enabled), but I can't turn it off. I got this update, but I still can't turn it off. Seems like Ford missed something in this release ... like the actual change described? (yes I know it can be done via forscan)
  6. BlueCruise 1.4 - What do you think?

Maybe it's just me, but is 1.4 more shakey when a large truck is in front of you? It starts swerving all over the place like it can't see the lines. Gets better if you adjust the distance, but then you lose efficiency (less wind blockage) and more people start cutting in front of you. I'm just...
  7. FCSP 40 vs 48? Stepwise EV Tap?

I have a 48amp charger usually derated to 40amp because I sometimes use an J1772 extension cord only rated for 40amps. Honestly, the extra hour+ of charge time never really bothers me, I wouldn't worry about it, but installing wiring for a future upgrade was smart.
  8. BlueCruise 1.4 - What do you think?

Maybe highways are different here - but if I set cruise, that's the speed I want to stay at. There's not a single curve that I would typically slow down for on any bc-mapped interstate. Different story on local roads, etc - but not on "highways".
  9. BlueCruise 1.4 - What do you think?

That's interesting - so if you were in hands-free, use the accelerator to speed up past 80 mph (and out of hands-free), BC lane change no longer works? I'm definitely seeing that it does.
  10. BlueCruise 1.4 - What do you think?

So far so good. I definitely do not like the auto-slowdown around curves. This is both annoying to me and the people behind me. I also mentioned this one in the other thread: Played around with the lane change feature a bunch this weekend. I found it funny that the feature is still active even...
  11. New BlueCruise Version 1.4 - Rollout IPMA-24.204.10.9

Played around with the lane change feature a bunch this weekend. I found it funny that the feature is still active even when hands-free is not - e.g. if you are traveling above 80mph, it will still try to do a lane change even though your hands are on the wheel. I wonder if that is by design or...
  12. New BlueCruise Version 1.4 - Rollout IPMA-24.204.10.9

Finally received and successfully installed 1.4 yesterday. I was convinced they had put me in the penalty box for complaining too much on surveys! Still waiting on the fix/toggles for WAL.
  13. Priority Update - BCM-24.5.1 - Convenient Frunk Closing

Yea why not just ship the toggles? Isn't that easier than pulling a whole feature out?
  14. Priority Update - BCM-24.5.1 - Convenient Frunk Closing

Nope - it's key fob based. I have never set up PAAK. It's simply unwanted behavior with a "frunk operation" update, and no way to turn it off without Forscan.
  15. Priority Update - BCM-24.5.1 - Convenient Frunk Closing

I'm sorry but this is ridiculous. Took this update late in the week, had no idea it included WAL. Now I'm constantly having to unlock my truck - so my wife can get stuff out of it. Yesterday at the grocery store my kid forgot her backpack, ran back out to the truck (which I NEVER lock unless I'm...
