This is a topic that we need regulations on the limit per KW for EV charging stations.
Typical fast charging EV rates I've seen between $0.45 and $0.55 per KW.
My old 2020 ICE 5.0 F150 averaged 18mpg.
18miles devided by 2miles per KW = 9KW. At $0.50 x 9KW = $4.50.
loved the truck and 99%...
2023 Lariat, Built June 23, In service July 23- Standard Range 20.5K
Failure HVB Module #4 per dealer. In shop for past week.
On charging:
Did you typically charge to 80%, 90%, 60%..? 90%
On the average, at what SOC your pack spent most of its time before it failed? 60%
How many kWh of fast...
Love the truck. First Issue.
2 weeks ago my wall charger switch to a red bar and my truck did not complete it typical overnight charge. Since then I would charge to 85% but as soon as I backed down the driveway it would go to 83%.
Yesterday I get a Service Now warning and a Stop Safely Now...
IT'S A YEAR!! Order 2/29/24.... My update from Ford just went to Jan 25. .... was June, then July, then Sept, now Jan. Losing faith that January will be the one...
Sorry if I offended. Like I said, I got the update, and see very little use in it. I more upset how people bash the EV movement. My 3rd F150 and hoping for 10+ years with no issues. 19k and had my tires rotated twice. My 20 Sport would of burned 1000gal of gas, 4 oil changes, 2 tire rotation...
trivial shit. I got the update 2 weeks ago, and so what? A gas tank doesn't tell you you have 13.8 gallons in the tank, and I could estimate between the hash marks what my SoC is
.. I got no complaints - love the truck with 19k after 14 months
Two bags would be tight. Even 1 bag the width is 1 inch to narrow and I need to remove my driver from the bag to store. But love the truck. plus two bag would likely hit the emergency release button
