Hi Rick are you sure the bumper to bumper warranty is not capped at 3 years / 36,000 miles?
If so that means only 21,000 miles left regardless it's still under warranty so take that with a grain of salt. The other thing to note on a model 2024 is the heat pump which obviously is less power...
I agree with Zap above I purchased an EV cause I want petrol independence. flFossil Fuels are not the answer and this erev option does not feel like the correct choice. But of course only time will tell.
On a side note it appears the biggest complaints are from the towing side, if thats the...
Not sure this will work but any time my center screen gets laggy or freezes up. I do the steering wheel reset: while truck is on hold down the far left and right buttons on the steering wheel for about 10 seconds. I believe it's the volume down button on far left and on the right it's the track...
Several options to look at on the forum. I personally have the fit cam x as it's an easy installation with the existing rear view mirror post and power. I did not instal the rear cam but I know others on here have.
I opted for the soft cover over my spare tire as I found an option for around $20 bucks on temu I think. I did also have to add a rivet hole in the middle so water has the chance to escape otherwise I would agree this is a decent modification to make I will upload a pic later.
This has happened to me as well but only when the rain is super heavy and the truck leans towards the front of the cab.
The lines might need to be cleaned but with heavy rain this weekend they might have overflowed?
When I go thru the car wash you can see the amount of water slushing thru...
No they never quit working just a fair. Amount of water inside more them would be coming from condensation.
Having an extra is not a bad idea. To my knowledge the same exact light is used in the truck bed for the exterior lighting.
I had both of mine replaced one they actually had to replace twice. It was all covered under warranty. Here is the thread link - https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/water-inside-frunk-hatch-lights.27612/ -
I do not recommend doing this your self as the entire front fascia has to...
I have the power deployed running boards on the Lariat trim I assume it's the same for the platty. I will agree they are a little noisey when going in and out but it does provide a much cleaner look. I honestly don't even use them as I'm over 6 feet tall but my kids need them to get in and out...
I'm not sure if it will fit but I would suggest looking at the Lariat grill instead. The pro black looks flat and cheap imo. And the platnimum version is super shiny and shows damage too easily. Just my 2 cents!
I'm fairly certain you can still move the truck with the frunk open. However if the driver door is open it will be locked. I assume you had the driver's door closed? Maybe a sensor there could also be to blame? Not sure if there is any way to turn that safety feature off?
