Thanks for the response, and I get that. I think I thought they might say "PM sent" or to PM them for more info or, if they can't offer a warranty on a 2022 (even though it's still under warranty), that they could volunteer that directly in the thread. No harm done, but I was just surprised I...
I see Grainger Ford mentioned here a bunch, but I couldn't get a response from them to multiple warranty inquiries I made in a thread they started back in March. Have any of you had luck talking with them here in the Forums?
Oh, wow. I didn't think about the original in-service date affecting the 100k/8 Year battery warranty. I'm probably the only person on earth that will hit 8 years before I hit 100k miles, too. The warranty issue didn't come up until several months after I bought it and saw that my free...
I have a 2022 Lightning that I bought in December 2023. It was never titled before I bought it, but I found out after I bought it that because the dealership used it as a demo (~800 miles when I took delivery), that the warranty began in 2022 (I thought it began when titled, and that is what...
Just to accomplish the same thing you did, only with my two-panel setup. This would allow me to use a single generator inlet in an outage to feed both my panels. The advantage would be not having to put all my critical circuits on one panel, which would be a nightmare and would mess with the...
Does anyone know why I couldn't have interlocks on both of my adjacent panels, with a 30A breaker being fed by the the generator inlet on one (like Dan's setup), and another 30A breaker coming back out (with a handle tie to the interlocked breaker) and feeding a third 30A breaker in the 2-4...
That makes sense. I guess, unlike an outlet, an inlet is not energized when not in use, and, because of the interlock, would never be receiving power from the utility.
Quick question about this. Couldn't you add an additional layer of safety by capping the "ground from truck" and tying the "ground from panel" to the point where you had the truck grounded (please see below picture for reference)? It would seem that if one of the hots came out of the back of...
Could you tell me if you have any of the issues with this Mach E shifter as discussed in posts 203 and 204 here https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/stick-to-rotary-shift-knob-conversion-w-3d-printed-rotary-shifter-holder.25541/page-14 ?
Based on those posts, it seems the shifter...
I can confirm the Starlink Mini will fit between the glass and shade (i.e. shade closes) with this mount in the Lightning (and receives a signal without issue):

You have to put it on the back (stationary) panel...
Love this design. Silly question: can you use the work surface with it? It’s hard (for me) to tell if the shifter sticks up higher than the surrounding trim.
