The Tesla Mobile Connector (EVSE Charger) is a soilid reliable product for only $300. You would need an inexpensive NACS to J1772 adapter also to use in your Ford.

The also sell a kit for an additional $245 with a NEMA adapter bundle to connect...
yep. I couldn’t find the sticker or hard copy of the owner manual. My wife took them out of the glove box last year and now they are nowhere to be found. I received the replacement stickers that ordered from Amazon. I will put them on and calibrate the truck as soon as I get finished installing...
The new trailer has a V-Nose. It’s had to see in my previous pictures.. Here is a picture from the dealer site that shows the X-Nose better.
I went with this trailer over a similar trailer because of the Aluminum frame. The Trailer weighs 650# less than a steel frame trailer.
Hopefully the...
Thank You ALL for your input and advice that helped me decide. I went with a 6X12 only because I can also tow it with my Model Y. So today I bought a New 2026 Xpress 6X12 Pro Series Aluminum Enclosed Trailer 2990 GVWR.
Unloaded it did 1.3 mi/kW at 65 MPG on the 60 mile trip home.
I have...
OK, another thought. My Tesla Model Y can tow up to 3500 lbs. That makes a 6x12 a viable option. Especially for towing the 25 miles locally between the old and new house.
Here is one example. https://www.righttrailers.com/unit/6x12-hook-and-line-cargo-trailer-738770
what do you think?
I have more than the normal towing experience. I towed a 8000 lb RV for years with a F150. Then graduated to a 14,000 lb 5 th wheel RV towed with a F350 SRW then towed with a F450. I haven’t towed with the Lightning.
Renting a U-Haul will get expensive with as many trips I expect to do. I...
I guess that is why the 6x12 has a GVWR of 2990. Brakes not needed in most states with a GVWR of less that 3000. It still make me uncomfortable witout brakes on a trailer.
I was thinking maybe a trailer with a GVWR of 7000 lb but loaded to a max of 5000 lbs and a 500 lb tongue weight.
I am now looking a 6x12 with GVWR of 2990 lb and a payload of 1790 lbs It is a single axle. The down side is it's a 4-pin wire connector and I don't think it has brakes...
I previously posted a thread here about efficiency when towing. https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/enclosed-trailer-towing-limits.33725/ I am about to buy an enclosed trailer and looking for firsthand experience. I would really like to get a 7'x14' with dual axles if the truck...
I don't blame the OP for deleting his account. He had a significant emotional event and some here pointed to blame him for some reason.
Posting on the internet can be cruel especially recently with the political environment. As a Tesla owner I've experienced the personal cruel comments on...
I understand. There is a huge value knowing that you owned it, took good care of it and you know the history. Buying used can be a crapshoot.
I'm getting up in age and when my lease expires I'll be 82 years old. Right now due to a uncorrectable slowly progressing vision problem I don't...
I also lease a 2024 Platinum.
In 2 years from now in 2028 our 2024 Lightning Platinums will likely be worth only $39,000. My residual Buyout on my 2024 Platinum is $49,000. Would you buy it if the actual value is 10k less?
I base this on the current KBB Trade in value of a 3 year old (2022)...
