I’ve also got the Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power warning on my 23 Pro with 8500 miles. My local dealer can’t get me in until Oct 26th, I don’t even know how that’s possible.
Truck drive fine on the way to work yesterday, but when I went to drive home, I had reduced power and a one pedal...
Well, add me to the list of folks with this issue. I got the Powertrain Malfunction warning light when I started up the truck shortly after driving about 50 miles. I turned the truck back off and then on, and the light was gone. I drove it home with no issues, but I made a service appointment...
This happened to me for the first time today. I plug in every night with a scheduled charge window, this morning I see that it just didn’t charge. And I didn’t notice until I had to leave because I haven’t had FordPass connectivity for the last month because of the modem issue.
Pretty...
Good to hear the charging issue isn’t an every time thing, I still couldn’t get it to add a home location again after I deleted it. I’ll go back out and try again later.
the lesser of two pains I suppose
Anyone have any unexpected issues disconnecting the 12v? I tried it for the first time today, and afterwards my frunk wouldn’t close, I had to do it manually. Then when I plugged the truck in, it started charging to 100% immediately, disregarding my charge limit and schedule. I still can’t get...
I’ll just add one more data point, as my trucks modem was also not connecting to the network, and connected services were not available.
I took the truck into the dealer, and they found DTC’s in both the GWM and TCU. They found that the GWM had a software update available, so they did that...
Same issue for me, the trucks modem has not connected to the network in a few days. I haven’t tried the battery disconnect, I have a service appointment tomorrow morning and I wanted to see what the dealer says before I try a home remedy
Depends if it’s a software or hardware issue I would think. The modem is not connecting to the network so it could be either. Regardless, I think it’s a good idea to have them reboot it and get a record of it requiring service
I called my dealers service department and they directed me to sales because they thought sales would know more about FordPass. Sales had me call ford customer service. Customer service had me try a few things to wake up the modem, but we were unsuccessful. So, they had me call my dealers...
Hmm interesting. Did disconnecting the LVB reset your sync4 settings? Maybe I’ll give that a try today
Also, did the issue occur again after you disconnected the battery?
Hi all, anyone had any issues with FordPass randomly not refreshing? We went on a day trip about 70 miles from home yesterday, and the app still thinks my truck is at our destination. It hasn’t refreshed since yesterday.
I’ve tried changing charge settings in the app and the connection fails...
