no doubt that it's good to see a company producing an 'option' to flexible, on-the-go, mobile DC 'fast' Charging options... but...
- the COST will certainly be prohibitive for any truck 'owner' looking for this type of on-the-road option to carry along... I'm sure financing will be a big part...
I was stopped early on one evening, at dusk, while traveling through my town, and through about 7 signals along the way, not having to come to a complete stop at any of them.... the State Trooper came up to my window and said 'son, do you realize your brake lights don't work?'....
after a...
when I was the Mayor of our small home town for a while, and we have our own electrical system, and bill our residents directly from City Hall, I had many instances where residents would come busting in the door, demanding that we had overcharged them, and must have a special 'button' to do...
I've seen maybe one single EA Location that has a similar layout to a Tesla Supercharger location... with 10-12 units...
but, most of the time I've ever stopped there, at least 2-5 of the units were not working properly...
my beef with EA, though, is mostly due to the layout, and location...
btw, any initial mi/kwh data you see, in any short-range travel, is not to be banked on... as it is subject to too many variables in such a short timeframe of travel...
a continue 200 mile trip, without stopping, would be a better, more accurate, gauge...
it's possible that any 'mode' might seem to initially indicate 'better' range, but, over the long range, it really will not matter - Drive Modes are more about the comfort of the driver, and their driving 'style'...
For the first 50,000 miles, I preferred SPORT mode, with it's higher REGEN...
mine has done this, infrequently, as well...
it seems to have a mind of it's own...
I also wish the HIGH BEAMS would reactivate MUCH QUICKER after a vehicle has passed... I don't like the 'slow increase' in the High Beams... just turn them on.
I also noticed that the HIGH BEAMS don't...
I think some of these variations are due to both the TRIM level of the truck, and, in my case, the fact that my PRO SR did not originally come with any AdaptiveCruise/LaneCentering, I added it myself later... so, therefore, my truck's steering wheel layout has NO buttons for either of these...
I also received the BCM-24.5.1 'frunk' update several days ago. Now I actually CAN NOT close the Frunk with the exterior button, whether the truck is locked, or not... and also CAN NOT open it, from the exterior button, either way...
One other phenomenon: My Ford Pass App will allow me to...
maybe I'm missing something within your 'edgy' thoughts,
but I believe you can easily disable 'Lane Keeping' assist and alerts within
the Driver Assistance SETTINGS.
some of us are using the term 'Lane KEEPING', when we may actually be referring to the self-steering 'Lane CENTERING' function, which are obviously DIFFERENT technologies, although both have to do with 'keeping' the vehicle within the stripes:
Lane KEEPING is simply an Alert, or a 'bump' of the...
LEFT is the BATTERY PACK, Right is the MOTORS temperature. As long as either are within the 'range', you're fine. Your Motor temp is showing slightly above 'average', which is not uncommon, and still well within range.
OUTSIDE temperature puts demands on the BATTERY COOLING or HEATING...
