  1. Consumer reports: Lightning range is 50mi lower than EPA

I can get 380 in my '22 PRO SR.... if downhill and 35mph the whole way : )
  2. IONNA Rechargeries are coming to more than 350 Circle K stations

I don't, although I don't use them very often, and, I believe, the FORD APP will initiate the charge, anyway... another drawback to CircleK, if you don't enroll in their app, is that any swipe/tap/chip of you credit or debit card will result in an automatic $50 'hold', and you'll not really...
  3. New GenerLink option (TN, and Utah)

I'm also not exactly sure what the 'Communications Cable' is for...
  4. New GenerLink option (TN, and Utah)

right, as I could not locate any NEMA 14-50 or 240v Twist lock connection on the unit, to allow for the incoming power from the truck... or are they are expecting your vehicle to provide this directly thru the J1772 cable?
  5. IONNA Rechargeries are coming to more than 350 Circle K stations

as of recently, my new DCFC favorite is the GM Energy EVgo Pilot/FlyingJ covered and DRIVE_THRU spacious platform, or at least most are, and are EXCELLENT for when towing... and the covered option doesn't hurt when 'good weather' is not in vogue at the moment, whether the HOT sun, or the rain...
  6. IONNA Rechargeries are coming to more than 350 Circle K stations

I hope this is true, as my local CircleK, and even the RaceTrac 'branded' DCFC units are Very CLUNKY, hard to initialize, hard to understand, and while they are fairly good speeds when up and running, they are a cross-over from previous 'Shell' branded old-school units, or they certainly seem to...
  7. New GenerLink option (TN, and Utah)

    - sounds like this is currently more for those lower amperage Main Panels, like 100, 125... where a lack of two slots for a double-pole breaker are unavailable, or the panel is already 'amped out'... and a panel upgrade is not feasible, or over-costly... a good choice. - it requires the...
  8. How are we holding up?

while I enjoy your same appreciation for this great vehicle, I don't really care about "aging fleet" and "peoples fears" and terms like "early demise", as they have no bearing on my and my truck, my EV, my vehicle - it just works. Perfectly. yes, all manufacturers will have 'troubles' from time...
  9. Mapped: America's highest electric bills

two things generally happen when it comes to our 'feelings' about our electricity bill: A) either we feel like we use 'just the same' as everybody else, yet our bill is 'outrageous', or 'we don't use any more than anybody else', and yet our bill is way too high! B) we compare the 'bill'...
  10. Mapped: America's highest electric bills

while a heat map might be an interesting 'overview' of some potential information, it's not specific to users, meaning that you can't simply go by a 'map' that someone has cleverly imagined as a way to highlight 'higher cost' areas... there's just WAY MORE TO IT than that... also, - WHERE did...
  11. {now 68,000 Miles} on my LIGHTNING PRO, and loving it...

update... :camera: 👀:flag: yep, only 26,000 miles now 68,000 miles so far : ) since August 2022... and [STILL!]loving it... it's everything Jim Farley said it would be. Period. I drive mainly in the 'Sport' mode since I like the greater regeneration to slow the truck, versus using brakes...
  12. A flood of used EVs is coming

I'm not sure many of us buy into the "a flood of EVs is coming" sentiment, or concern, or whatever that means... as... - a 'flood' is a sudden release of water generally in an area that is not designed to contain it, resulting in a hazard or damages. I'm not sure what this has to do with EVs...
  13. Left truck plugged in while on vacation and my electric bill doubled.

same here, as we have NO IDEA what "My electric bill doubled in usage" even means... and probably has NOTHING to do with a 'truck', plugged in, or not.
  14. New GenerLink option (TN, and Utah)

if you mean that during an 'outage' if you are going to use your 'truck' to run EVERYTHING all at once ; YES. but, that's not how life works. you could also do that with your current Main Panel, if you want to try. It's not normal, though. nobody decides to all-of-a-sudden do their CLOTHES...
  15. New GenerLink option (TN, and Utah)

there's also the $999 - $1,499 charge or the device itself, whether Utility or Hybrid... but, even if your Utility offers the ability for the 'direct' connection, I might would even use the Hybrid, instead, as then I don't have to wait for the Utility's approval, or permit, if needed, although...
  16. New GenerLink option (TN, and Utah)

[in this photo, the Utility meter, to the left, is then feeding this ADDITIONAL(Option2) meter base box, with the Generlink installed, and the wiring then leaves the top and feeds the home's interior Main Panel] so, I can imagine that, yes, this is a great option for those who's UTILITY is not...
  17. Ram Rev video (Preview)

...agreed: my thoughts exactly. But, apparently, Manufacturers know more than we do.
  18. Ram Rev video (Preview)

and, in reality, few, very very FEW, drivers and/or families will be traveling anywhere CLOSE to 600+ miles in a single drive WITHOUT Stopping for a bathroom or snack or meal, or, well, just to 'stretch your legs'.... yes, it gives you options, and likely you'll be then using the 'gas' for the...
  19. Ram Rev video (Preview)

also, yes, the EPA 'total' range of 690 miles, if that's what it eventually comes out as, will be CONSERVATIVE driving, and certainly NOT While Towing, and even overblown slightly, as you won't be driving the truck until the gas tank goes 'dry', either... you'll be stopping WELL before it's fuel...
  20. Ram Rev video (Preview)

as an EV purist, and having not used a gas station for many years, I actually don't 'not like' the RAM REV, but, I'd still need to see all the specs, and, most importantly, know two things: the price, of course(trim levels as well), and the 'EV ONLY' Drive Modes and how they work to keep the...
