Are the bolts accessible from the top of the bed or the bottom? I am getting the bed repaired after an accident, and the body shop alluded to maybe having to disconnect the bed to get better paint access to the cab/bed space. I ask as I have a bed liner and need to know if that needs to come...
The dealer stated the rotation would be included in the price; when I asked how much for just a rotation, they said $30 (which includes brake inspection). Discount Tire did my rotation at 10k, which coincided with having them fix a flat (free rotation, $40 flat repair).
What is everyone paying for 20k service at their dealership? The local one in the Tri-Valley quoted over $500 for the service (which I respectfully declined).
Considering getting it done for the right price, but over $500... That ain't it.
Going this route; should I upgrade to the Generac 9854 (with 50A wiring and inlet)? Thinking about future-proofing for a life after the Lightning, and want to avoid doing things twice.
When I installed my EVSE, I had to do a map drawing. I got out the ol' trusty, dusty tape measure, did an exterior wall mapping of the home, and drew it out in Draw.io.
My city also has a portal for permits, where you submit your permit, but also look up permits for work performed. But that...
California here; I had to ask my dealer to not install the plate bracket, but the dealer made me sign something that said "if you get ticketed, it's on you, not us".
California also has a sticker plate option for the front plate. It costs about the same as a plate mount, and doesn't look half...
New Ford Charge Station Pro (FCSP) available in the SF Bay Area. Received in April, opened today (already have a charging setup so I have no need for this). Willing to travel (located in East Bay, but can meet up in agreed upon location).
$400 OBO.
I noticed Google Maps (on Android Auto) has a feature where it will estimate your charge at your destination.
Also, key advice: have a co-pilot who is familiar with the apps/tech, so the passenger can adjust while you are driving.
Rough guess is that the outlet is 220V/30A, which gets a Tesla Model 3 LR in that ballpark.
30A x 220V = 6600 W (6.6 kW)
Model 3 LR battery capacity: 82 kWh
6.6 kW/82 kWh = 0.0805/h = 8.05% battery capacity added per hour
Model 3 LR range = 341 miles (note: driving efficiency of ~4.1 mi/kWh)...
