I live in Southern California but I have to park my Lightning outside of the garage. FYI, the cable for the Ford Charge Station Pro is approximately 20 feet long and so I can easily run it under my garage door to my truck.

I can vouch for Texas Dan's comment, at least for Southern California. More than once I have come upon an EA charging location with one or more Bolts sitting there and charging from 90% up to 100% at a very slow rate. It's not that they are slower per say, it is that they don't/won't stop...

FYI, when I was up there in April the second one was not even yet on the Tesla App. I tried the old one by Tavern and was unsuccessful at several stations. So I went down to the new one and tried those but they didn't work either. They did have a couple of slower J1772 plugs there that were free...

So, which one on Old Mammoth Road did you end up at that was working? The "older" one that is a couple of blocks off of Main Street (203) or the new Tesla chargers further down on the right next to the skating rink?

I, too was in Mammoth in April and had the same issues at all of the Tesla chargers that I tried, both at the old location and the new one at the ice rink. I was also successful in Lone Pine. Hopefully they update those chargers as a high speed CCS/NACS option in Mammoth is sorely needed!

Mine started to separate almost immediately back in 2022 and the dealer replaced both under warranty.

FYI, ordered mine on 3/1 and it still hasn’t shipped yet.

I am the first poster on this thread. Mine were replaced a year and a half ago and have been fine since. This is a known defect going way back and yours should be replaced with no argument.

That is good to know. How was your rate of charge with the A2Z adapter?
