Update: I ordered the following:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CYZHQ7HZ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
It is slightly smaller than what came off of the original blade but is fits OK and it was very quick and easy to install. I will update if there is any performance issues...
For anyone reading, I installed this today in 30 seconds. It is smaller than what came off of the blade but It does fit. I will post later if there is any performance issues.
‘What do you particularly like about them that justify the $30 refill vs $5-$12 regular type? My Original wiper was regular type and lasted 3 years. Do the square type clean better?
Please let us know what works for you. My 23 Pro blade is 22 in.
My original blades have been working for 38 months but the rubber is busted and we have rain tomorrow. I may just buy a set of blades and then take my time experimenting with the refills until I get one working. I will post...
‘Did you use this on Lightning? The dimension on this rubber seems to be different than what I have. This one is 5 x 10 mm. Please let me know if you actually have used this successfully so I can order it.
p.s. I have a 23 Pro. (22 in blade). Not sure if blades are different in different trims.
I saw that one. The problem I have is most of the dimensions on what is posted on Amazon is not the same as OEM rubber. What I measured the rubber in the OEM blade is 0.3 in x 05 in ( 7.6 mm x 12.7 mm). This one is 5 x 10 mm.
Did you ever find one that works? My 23 Pro original blade is designed to be very easy to replace the rubber. 3mm wide 5mm hight but Amazon refill dimensions don’t seem to be trustworthy. Getting ready to order some of them. If anyone knows which one works please do share.
It was easy to...
Actually that is already in these songs “It cuts me deep, they killed the line. ….”
The way I look at it, I was lucky enough to get a great truck at a great price at the right time. You may have a collector item on your hands. Not being able to get a new one is other people’s problem. Just...
Thanks for sharing. It is great news that you were able to do it yourself. Did You have to do anything challenging to take the bubbles out of cooling system? Any advice for anyone that has never done this before but is brave/stupid enough to try? I expect to have this problem again.
I have had cases in the past that dealer (not Ford) refused to cover something that was clearly a warranty issue. Not sure just because it was inconvenient for them to deal with manufacturer or because they could charge me more. That is why my satisfaction with any car is inversely related to...
It seems like dealers charge like doctors do. $900 for Ford but $1500 for the customer is messed up.
This is obviously a design flaw and should be covered after warranty. The sad thing is that, the new part is the same as the old one and is likely to break again.
