It would be no surprise if it turned out to be because they can get away with data gathering here that they canāt do in other countries because some civilized nations have actually useful privacy laws.
@Ford Motor Company BlueCruise 1.0 here. Have had the vehicle since July 2022. Why on earth would I expect Iād get this before you try to charge me a stupid renewal fee?

I went to one in MD that charged $0.60/kWh, no pricing displayed on the charger or during the process, which was enough of an unpleasant surprise to not want to go there again.
I purchased at Koons in Catonsville, and had a fine experience. That said, after two service appointments there in two different years, to say their service team is incompetent and unable to figure out scheduling would be too kind. Iām now looking at other options that donāt take my vehicle for...
The rare occasions I've had to charge to 100% either on DC or AC, it has taken a while. I'm certainly a little concerned but it hasn't ever done that before.
