Someone over at the Rivian forums did a comparison on the Defender/Ion HT. Some of the tires have crowdsourced data too if you wanna browse around the site.

Personally I am also considering between the two but I am also considering price...
My truck got side swapped last year and needed a new right fender. They had to order the newer fenders without the faux charge port. What's cool is that the "updated" badging the Lightning got with the light blue accent is on the emblem.
Crazy timing then, cmon lol.
I just tried to schedule it on the app. "This recall cannot be scheduled right now due to unavailability of remedy or parts." Guess I'll have to wait a bit.
Quite frustrated myself to be honest. BC1.4 has been out for a long time but I still haven't received the OTA for it. I shouldn't have to shell out money for FDRS to get it in a timely manner.
AAA (others too probably) sells add on glass coverage on top for like $100-200 a year. I don’t remember the price exactly. And with the OEM endorsement policy, it extends to the glass coverage. I feel OEM endorsement is a must for newer cars.
7500 lb curb weight while extremely chonky, its lighter than what I was expecting from Dodge. (still over 700 lbs heavier than the lightning ER though)
I was wondering if the bolts are easily accessible for the headlights.. someone side swiped me and I needed a new headlight and the bodyshop did a terrible job in height alignment with the light bar. I have tried adjusting the knob that controls how far down the hood closes but it still isn't...
