I've had the click since day 1 as well. Had 73 miles on it off the transport truck. Only time I ever hear it is with the windows down from a stop. I have over 2300 miles on it.
Not that I'm aware of, but I haven't charged on anything but my Charge Station Pro and the old Ford dealership charger at work that's only like 6kw. I had to dial back my Charge Station Pro by opening it up and moving the switch from position 7 to 6 so it's only doing 64 amps instead of 80.
I tried to charge a Mach-E on Thursday, on 240, but of course the mobile adapter is 32 amps, and the 240 socket in the bed is on a 30 amp circuit. It charged for about 20 seconds before it tripped. Really needs to be a way to dial down charging amperage on Ford EVs like you can do in a Tesla.
Mine have been this way since day 1, but getting worse on the driver's side I believe. I'm afraid in the winter when it gets cold, moisture will accumulate under there, freeze up and expand causing it to peel even further down.
This happened to me one time on my 2nd day in my truck. I came home, got on this forum and read about the steering wheel button reset. Went back out to try it, and it was working fine. It's never frozen up on me since. I've had the truck 2 months now and 1600 miles.
Wow I didn't even notice that was an option checked as scale removal. Good catch. I uncheck the removal and It's $90,399 for the same truck that was $80,999.
Exactly what mine did on 80 amps. I dialed back to position 6 for 64 amps on the dial inside the charger and it's worked without tripping, but I can't get it to connect to Fordpass.
Mine won't add the charger in Fordpass. Once I get it connected in the setup App and it wants to move over to Fordpass, it says "ChargePoint not Found" when I hit Next in the "Add your station in Fordpass" section that shows your station ID and password.
I finally thought I had it connected, but it won't add the charger in Fordpass now. It says "ChargePoint not Found" when I hit Next in the "Add your station in Fordpass" section that shows your station ID and password.
