I used Granger shortly after I purchased my truck. I only added on 2 years just because Ford B2B is only 3. The only annoyance is there is no longer any way to check the status of it yourself, you'll have to ask at a dealer service dept like someone else said.
something I always wondered about the extended range trucks with the dual onboard chargers... when charging at 40 amps and below, does it only ever use one of them, or does it switch back and forth to spread out the wear? I had my onboard charger go out in my model 3, wondering if one died in...
I'd never go back to gas. Only fuel I burn is natural gas in my furnace. If it ever breaks it will be replaced with a heat pump.
Looking at EV9 at the moment. I doubt I make any move until early 27 though since I got an extended warranty.
Yeah, the immediate responses and backlash mostly make me think they DO know who Hank is, or they did a very quick Google search. When they saw he's on the "NPR-ish" side of youtube creators, they just couldn't stop themselves from posting something negative about him.
I see E Transits around my area pretty often, I look for the blue in the grill when I see any ford vans. Also, Walmart is using them for direct store to home deliveries. I wonder if that contract would keep them being made? Also wonder if they get EREV with it as well.
Yeah, so, I drove from PA to Wisconsin this past summer, I couldn't believe the shoddy state of route 90 through Indiana. The only time I ever was glad to be entering Ohio in my life was on the way back.
EV stocks are always nightmares, even if the company is successful. Rivian, Nio, Lucid, they actually have sales and their long term charts look like Aptera's this week. Don't even get me started on Fisker, Nikola....
This was a super common thread or discussion in forums or discord servers when the model 3 was newer in 2018 or so. It's all psychological. You're just used to it now.
I think there's a hidden value to this project beyond the use of a gas generator. We might get some super dense batteries in the future, so in another decade, if a small ecoflow/bluetti device can hold a lot more kWh, it would become a viable add-on for these trucks in their old age.
