Is this still the most current thread on coolant level? I did find one other one, but no updates since 2023, making this the most recent, I guess.
I bought my '23 Lariat used in July of '25. At some point after I got it, I discovered I should check that level. It was right above min. Now it's...
I don't know why, but for some reason I immediately saw two lips with lipstick and now I can't unsee it! :cwl:
I'm sorry, it's no comment on the job. I'm pretty sure I would have mangled the application.
Yes, it does. However, just like if you have one of those garden hose hangers on the wall, coiling it by hand is a hassle and I end up with dirty hands. I know that some people wouldn't care about that, but I'm interested in making it trouble free.
I initially was thinking about that, but I don't think that can work. I have 2 hose reels like that on my house. They have to have a separate connector to keep from pulling on the supply hose from the faucet. Same thing would have to be true for the power cable.
Yes, this is pretty much EXACTLY what I was thinking. If I remember correctly, Emporia is a chinese company, so the resulting tariffs would make it prohibitively expensive here, thus why it's "out of stock."
That's interesting. So if I'm traveling in 50+ temps, there's no preconditioning going on? If that's true, is there any advantage to using the Ford Navigation vs ABRP or something else?
Thanks, that's good to know! I'm fortunate my friend traveling with me has traveled extensively in his Model S and is used to the stop/charge/eat/bathroom breaks already.
Yes, when I drive my wife's Buick Enclave, I get frustrated with how slow and unresponsive it seems. When I drive my Mitsubishi Fuso box truck, it feels like I'm riding a giant tortoise.
