    The adapter on the right is the initial Ford adapter, made by Tesla... The adapter on the left is the second Ford adapter, made by Lectron.

    If it doesn't bear the markings, it's not approved. Once they get approval, they can then apply markings to future ones.

    Not an expert, but since the Lectron adapter is different, they would have to submit it separately. Ford site doesn't say it is.
