David installed mine also. The new update 4.2.3.1 "seems to" have fixed the communication between the truck and the inverter. In regard to the 2nd bubble it was off and the bi-directional was working with this new update.

The recent update 4.2.3.1 has worked in allowing the bi-directional to kick in and power the house. I will be re creating a power outage this week and hoping to get consistent results.

The other day we simulated grid outage and after 4 minutes nothing, unplugged the charger and put it back in and it worked in about 2 minutes.

Got the HIS to work but it can be hit or miss to work every time. I think the issue is a software issue with the inverter.
