Confirming "-X" works - its motorized, has a light ring at the base. Rubberized texture instead of the silver ring. No error codes.
Question, are people swapping back to get things done (unrelated to shifter) at the dealer?
Anyone know if LX6Z-7P155-X works? I think I have a line on one but the vendor is being cagey about returns if I test it to see if it’s motorized. I assumed so because of the part number but figured I’d ask here.
Curios to see if this is another motorized variant. I have a non motorized on the way only because I wasn’t able to find any of the previously mentioned motorized part numbers in stock.
I’m not sure if this constitutes hijacking the thread, but I’m curious to know if there’s a consensus on which rotary shifter to purchase (or avoid). I’ve skimmed through a few threads, and it appears that some may not work well with features like auto hold.
I’m glad some space was saved for my truly dumb question. You put the shocks on the front instead of the rear for example because you wanted a bit of lift?
I disagree. It adds additional complexity and cost. Since most owners don't daily DC fast charge, and even fewer tow, there would be no observable benefit. That being said, I'd still pick it up because it's not a cost-prohibitive option, especially with the heavy discounts reported on the forum...
I get why Edmunds has to do this but I agree these trucks don't really compete for the same buyer. Unless you use someone with tons of money to burn or a YouTuber as a "type" of buyer. The F150 is the actual truck of the bunch while CT and and R1T are lifestyle vehicles with some bed space. They...
I'm still a bit confused by the de-contending choices. So at this point the Platinum gets "accents" and 22' wheels over an optioned Lariat? Seems like a waste of a trim.
