Its been my experience that Wind Resistance is huge. I pull a 7' tall cargo trailer (20' long), and also a dump trailer. Even with the cargo trailer empty, it burns way more electricity than a loaded dump trailer!
I am surprised you are all having the problems with the Ford Charge Station Pro. I installed a 100am circuit for it, and I've never used anything else OTHER THAN the Ford Charge Station Pro (except when traveling of course) - and I havn't had a single problem.

But I still wonder - does anyone know WHY the 12V battery isn't maintained (trickle charged when needed) when the vehicle is merely parked? To my un-informed mind, it seems it would be such a simple thing?
