I’ve run into the same and it’s thinking it can’t charge to the target with the time allowed. I try and only charge when the sun is up (solar) and not during peak times. (SRP is weird with solar and EV charging) It’s a small window I know but the truck doesn’t want to accept the no charge during...
Other than range there is so much more that can go wrong.
Fires are more common with gas vehicles. Now you have both gas and lithium batteries.
It’s more technically complex. You have both electric and ICE issues.
You loose the mega frunk.
It was for these reasons dodge abandoned their...
So I just found this thread, thanks to Transport Evolved, and this is something I've wanted for a long time for my 23 XLT XR Lightning. Thanks to this tread and TE I was able to get the IPC updated and loaded the 2024 As Built file loaded successfully. Everything looks great and seems to...
So, the dealer compared it to a couple other F150’s (not just the Lightning) and it was the same. I’ve grown used to it but still seems like it could be better.
This is where the charge station pro sucks. There is no options to only allow charging between times, or restrict vehicles or even change charge rate from the app.
It’s only “great” feature is VtoH. And that is another $10K option.
So the first issue is the charge SHOULD have stopped at 2:00 but it didn't. The second is it finally did stop after 40%. I'll have to try this again on another day. But it's working as expected right now SOC - 56% and waiting to charge at 10 AM.
I'm curious if this is an issue with the truck or is it an issue with the Charge Station Pro? Would like to know if anyone else has seen that if your below 40% does it ignore your schedule?
How will that setting only allow a charge from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm? Your setting will charge when I have no sunlight and using the grid to charge. Or am I missing something?
