I have a 2023 SR Pro with 10K miles (avg 2.3 mi/kWh).
I have a TMY LR for my road tripping needs, it's very efficient, 2X less costly to operate, and has autopilot.
SR Likes:
Sub $40K OTD price (with Tech and Pro Power Pkgs)
Lighter weight than ER improving handling and payload.

I agree on the dash, lots of wasted space. By the time I get my non foundation DM, hopefully the attention will have died down.
Legacy can’t currently produce a software defined vehicle using current software and off the shelf hardware/supply chain. Most Legacy BEVs have 12V LVB and OTA...
Most criticism of CT is based on pics/vids. CT must be seen in person to fully appreciate. The build quality, size, materials, and technology put CT in a class of its own.
0-60 for DM CT is fast enough for this size of vehicle. Most reviewers have said it’s plenty quick.

The social media pendulum swings both ways. This guy was in my feed for a while and was all praise for CT. Manufacturers are now at the mercy of social media platforms. MKBHD basically tanked Fisker with his statement “The worst car I ever reviewed”. The influencers are becoming more powerful...
Wow ? crazy interest (21 pgs) in Tesla SC. The product is only as good as the service apparently. Thanks Tesla for increasing the value of my truck overnight! We have breached the walled garden, let the games begin.
Do you have to be enrolled in BlueOval to order adaptor? All I keep getting is “connected services” with no ability to order. Ford should have mailed these adaptors according to purchase dates.
2 TMY’s and a Lightning. Non foundation CT dual motor will replace Lightning once prices drop to sub $80k. The CT is the best vehicle I have ever seen in person. It’s seriously impressive and pics don’t show that. I am also spoiled by Tesla OTA’s, autopilot and lack of service required.
I would be upset if my new truck had no heat and possibly more problems. Tesla addresses most recalls OTA and I have never had to get service . It’s crazy how ill prepared Ford is at addressing issues with their BEVs. Many posts on these forums are complaining about poor dealership...
I have a faulty 12V BMS (NL3T-10C652-AD and need to get it replaced with part ML3Z-10C679-B) and other recalls I need addressed. Calling around to local Ford dealerships isn’t encouraging. What dealer is best equipped to service electric vehicles?
I should have purchased Uber stock last year when I noticed a huge influx of ride sharing BEVs?. Stock up 116% past year. Uber needs their own charging hubs at this point.
It also doesn’t help that some dealerships still don’t have EV certified techs. My local dealer has 2 locations and the one that is 5 mins from me is worthless to me. Seriously, why can’t Ford provide mobile service like Tesla? I’m not bringing in my truck in for recalls and also failed OTA’s...
There are a multitude of reasons for the slow down in sales. The Lightning is too well built. The economics never made sense due to battery costs. Rising interest rates eliminated Lariat trim buyers Ford needed for sales. The dealerships don’t really want to sell BEVs. The media has put a...
The Lightning uses a PTC heater that takes a very hard knock on the range/battery during cold weather. WeberAuto on YT showed how inefficient these type of heaters are. If you run with your heat on high and also need the A/C for dehumidification, it can use up to 9.5 kW/hr. If the Lightning...
As an 2023 Pro owner, I agree with most of your points. The Lightning is super comfy and a great road tripper. I don’t think it’s fair to assume EA is the worst company. Without EA, most of your trips would not be possible. The network was reliable prior to the huge COVID uptick in BEV sales...
