  1. Coolant valve broken, no replacements available, FORD is offering buyback

I'm getting there too. I was planning to keep it until 2028 or possibly 2029. Now I'm not so sure.
  2. SYNC-26.2.8.3 SW Update 12 - Center Touchscreen [EAP]

Strange, the update installed today and appears to be functional as I have the new phone icon on the top row, but I don't have the symptoms in this SSM. Instead, if I look at the update screen, it says it did not install successfully.
  3. Ford Ranchero EV Pickup - News & Info

I love my Lightning. A next gen version would need only two major improvements: significantly better software and a more affordable trim to drive sales. I was very interested in what the T3 was shaping up to be before they cancelled it. Instead we get an EREV and this tiny compromise with a...
  4. Are 2022 models not getting any newer OTA updates?

It's actually better than most dealer processes since the dealer techs often do not connect a proper power supply and regularly kill 12V batteries trying to do long updates without them. This is despite the fact that the service instructions clearly say to connect a proper power supply before...
  5. PSA: Get an Additional BlueCruise Year for Free (2022 and 2023 Models)

My parents are looking at a Model Y so I just did a demo drive with them, and we were all very impressed with FSD. It automatically changed lanes, handled turns, parking, etc, and required no interventions through a mix of city/freeway driving. At no point did I think it did anything unsafe...
  6. BlueCruise Free Extended additional year?

I may consider paying for one month if we take a very long road trip. Otherwise no, it's not useful for my commute or around town driving.
  7. Important Update: Ford EV Roadmap & Future of F-150 Lightning (EREV Next Gen Model) - ⛔️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS

My wording may have been confusing. It was just my way of saying that I was interested in what the T3 may have been (we had no details beyond some vague promises), and I'm not interested in the newly announced EREV. I was never interested in the smaller entry level pickup that we've known...
  8. Important Update: Ford EV Roadmap & Future of F-150 Lightning (EREV Next Gen Model) - ⛔️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS

Thank you for the update. When it comes time to replace my 22 with something, likely in 3 to 5 years, I'm still only interested in what the now cancelled T3 may have been. I have no interest in downgrading to either an EREV or a smaller entry level truck.
  9. Will You be buying the Lightning EREV?

Perhaps. Mine will need replacement sooner or later. Based on my current mileage and driving habits, that will likely be sometime in the 2028 - 2030 window. It may have even been sooner if something really got me excited. Historically people often buy a new F-150 to replace their older F-150...
  10. Important Update: Ford EV Roadmap & Future of F-150 Lightning (EREV Next Gen Model) - ⛔️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS

I didn't miss that at all. I have no interest in a midsize pickup from Ford, never have. I like the F-150 because it's big and the Lariat trim has just enough luxury features for my taste. Historically Ford's midsize trucks are lower end or entry level to keep costs down (even with the top trim...
  11. Important Update: Ford EV Roadmap & Future of F-150 Lightning (EREV Next Gen Model) - ⛔️ ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS

Not interested in an EREV (I don't tow) or a smaller truck (I like half tons). I was waiting for the T3 to replace my 22. I guess I'll be looking at other brands when the time comes, and that's a shame. I love F-150s but I have no desire to put gas in a truck again. Terrible news.
  12. Reset Lariat Door Code Without DEFAULT Code...How?

I would prioritize getting your factory code, but if I recall correctly, if you remove and then re-add your PAAK, you can then also set a new door code.
  13. Enabling charge speed on dash.

There are a few posts about that in the linked thread.
